Internet Use Survey

In this assignment I surveyed five people of different gender and age. The objective of this survey was to find out how much people use the internet. I also asked what browser they use, how many email addresses they have, and what do they use their internet for mostly.

I came to the conclusion that girls used the internet more then boys did. Younger children use it more then adults did. Adults usually used it for email, business, or shopping. When children were using the internet they were using it for more games and chatting with friends. All of this turned out to be exactly how I thought it was because most parents are not using the internet to be on AIM or Myspace. I am not saying they do not use either of these software but it was apparent to me that more kids would be the users of them. All five of the people I interviewed used the internet. All of the people also had at least one to three email addresses for all different reasons. Overall the internet is the new book, shopping cart, and game board and is used more then ever before.

I thought all these results were very accurate. I figured most of this would show up and come to be true. One thing I did not know is how many email addresses people would have.
